A wholesome meal perfect for the whole family, spice it up with our Miso Satay meatballs and make it your own by serving with rice or risoni.
You will need:
- One Foxes Den Miso Satay Simmer Sauce pouch
- 500g pork mince or pork meatballs
- 1 egg, lightly beaten (if using pork mince)
- 1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs (if using pork mince)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Fresh coriander. to garnish
- Steamed rice or risoni, to serve
Method:
- If making your own meatballs - combine mince, egg, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl and mix well. Form heaped tablespoons of mince mixture into 16 meatballs.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs for 8 minutes, turning occasionally, or until browned on all sides.
- Pour Foxes Den Miso Satay Simmer Sauce over meatballs. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 minutes or until sauce has thickened slightly and meatballs are cooked through. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or risoni
